Efficient retail is critical for small businesses to remain competitive, especially in the hardware industry, However, Windale Hardware Store faces challenges in managing inventory, processing transactions, and delivering efficient customer service. The motivation behind this study is to leverage technology to streamline operations, reduce manual errors, and enhance overall efficiency for better business outcomes. Manual inventory tracking and transaction recording processes are time-intensive and error-prone, leading to inefficiencies in sales and stock management. This study addresses the need for an integrated Point of Sale (POS) and ordering system to resolve these challenges by automating key processes and improving operational workflows. Using the Agile Methodology, the system was iteratively designed and developed to meet user needs. Features such as dashboards for sales tracking, stock forecasting, CRUD operations for product, inventory, and user management, and real-time order processing were implemented. The system also supports printable receipts and user-friendly interfaces. The system successfully automated critical retail processes, significantly reducing operational delays and minimizing human error. Real-time inventory tracking and data analytics for top-selling products and sales trends empowered better decision-making. The system was well-received by owner and staff improving productivity and customer service efficiency. These results strongly support the development of a web-based system application for accurate, convenient, and smooth user experience, with a user-friendly interface.
