This capstone project addresses the persistent challenges in accurate population data collection and resource management for Bantayan Island. By integrating demographic and geographic data using a Geographic Information System (GIS), the system enhances efficiency in mapping, data visualization, and population management. It includes a comprehensive dashboard displaying key metrics such as barangay, house, and residence counts, along with gender distribution. Administrative functionalities like creating, reading, and updating data, adding staff and administrators, scheduling censuses, and generating reports are implemented. Following the AGILE development model, the system focuses on iterative prototyping and client collaboration for continuous refinement. A mobile application extends its accessibility, catering to diverse stakeholders including local governments, communities, and researchers. The project has undergone rigorous testing for functionality and compliance with ISO/IEC 25010 standards, achieving high satisfaction scores for usability and performance. The system’s innovations improve data accuracy, streamline administrative tasks, and support better governance and infrastructure planning. It prioritizes usability and security, offering a scalable solution for data-driven decision-making.
